I always believe that you have to know what you want , be passionate about it, but more importantly be true to yourself. If It means changing yourself to something that you do not really
believe in…it will be difficult for you, no matter what to succeed.
It was a struggle in the beginning like any new business venture. Didn't earn a penny, still not earning what aspire to. But i'm not in it for the money, i'm in it because i love it
- and when you love something you hold on to it as it gives you a satisfaction money can't buy. Parents and kids have unconditional love and no matter what happens a parent will always stick to
his/her child. Same thing with me and music - it's my balance in life.
"I think that tragedies effect you on a more personal and emotional level. So I feel the pain, when I see horrible things happen and my heart goes out to people
that have had suffered for whatever reason. Sometimes it actually inspires me to write something. You know - and sometimes its more a cause to reflect and also be thankful for all the positive
blessings that i do have in my life and see how delicate this life is."
"I can't describe the essence of music adequately in words, but I have a strong need to express it nonetheless. It reminds me of the so called "hard-problem" of consciousness, in that no
objective description can ever account for the subjective reality that we are all so aware of."
"What makes me worry the most is new artists who don't have any respect for the music itself. The ones who want to arrive very quickly, play around the world, ask for more and more money, and
totally do not respect that there is something creative that is important in this business as well. And it only comes from inside of you."
"In an entertainment industry, there´s sometimes this attitude that some people are higher in class or status than another. I just have to emphasize that´s not true. Ever. No one skips the
obligation to add something good in the world."
"True, if you have a sensibility. Music has a big power to the people, at least, to me, it can make me smile or cry no matter which feeling I have in the moment I listen to
it."
''It needs more to change the world, music can be a part of it but the seed of change needs to be planted in the brains of our children. That means you have to take care of them and not let
the tv & internet do the education.''
"I wanted to be a musician since i was a kid. Then i was clear i would be an electronic musician. I do things without thinking too much about failure, otherwise
i wouldn't do much really."
"I´m a very emotional - some say extreme guy. i´m on 100 or 0, all or nothing. and so music should be for me. i hate a melody, or i love it. i produce a track within 3 hours or never."
"Music has always been an escape for me, it makes me a better person and it guides my life, so for me its been a positive thing."
"I can definitely say about myself that I would be another person without the music. This is the only thing I know since the age of 13 ."
"Even that I am still enjoying the whole crazy circus, more and more I have the feeling that people changed their approach to arts in general a lot. With the new media you can everything
anytime you like, with almost no limitation, and I expect this not to be a real improvement."
"I'd rather measure my success on the above than on beatport charts. charts are just another way of curating and promotion which can be a welcome tool for many people to help finding a way
through the cloud of content."
